Tithes and Offerings
Tithes in the Old Testament were 10%. 
Free Will Offerings were gifts to God given above the tithe. God has blessed each one in some measure, whether large or small. 
It is expected by God that we will give back to Him a portion of the monetary blessing we have received, for the work of the ministry.

God speaks the following in reference to giving:
"Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, so that there may be food in My house, and test Me now in this," says the Lord of Hosts, "if I will not open for you the windows of heaven 
and pour out for you a blessing until it overflows."

 He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him over for us all, how will He not also with Him freely give us all things?
